The Moroso Prize will be presented to the festival of Contemporary art in Faenza on Saturday 22 May at 11am, in Piazza Nenni. It is the result of the recent partnership between the GC.AC (Municipal Contemporary Art Gallery of Monfalcone) and MOROSO s.p.a., a company which has always had an active interest in the world of contemporary art, and which has been involved in the festival since the first edition, with its unmistakable designs. The Prize aims to inspire the younger generations by offering them a real opportunity for training and development. The establishment of the Prize represents a new, pioneering form of promotion because it makes use of the distribution chains of the “Made in Italy” brand to strengthen the relationship between artists and the world of creative businesses.
During the presentation Andrea Bruciati, the director of the Municipal Contemporary Art Gallery of Monfalcone, together with Patrizia Moroso, will talk about the motivation and details behind the prize, including a list of the 30 artists involved and the 10 curators who have selected them, as well as the two chosen commissions.
