At a press conference at the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro in Milan, Angela Vettese and Pier Luigi Sacco presented the 3rd edition of the festival of Contemporary art, that will take place from the 21 to 23 May in Faenza.
The presentation was an occasion to focus on the theme of the third edition OPERE/works and to provide a preview of the programme, some of the international guests and the special events. As Angela Vettese said the festival aims to be a cheerful and vital moment dedicated to reflection and a chorus of voices to satisfy the desire to understand what a work of art is and who the author is nowadays.
Pier Luigi Sacco emphasized the importance of reflection about works of art, training the viewrs to look at and to think about the work of art, through debate and even through the loss of certainty that helps the spectator to develop a new relationship with the work of art. He also pointed out the importance of the Cyou project, the international network of young volunteers, the ambassadors of the festival throughout Italy and Europe, for a festival focused on the participation of the new generations.
