There will be over 60 fringe events during the festival of Contemporary art, as part of a huge celebration which will involve the whole city and light up the night of Saturday 22 May, with Cnight, which will involve parties, concerts and relaxation areas.
While we wait for the definitive programme, which will be available soon, the city is getting ready and organising events which range from meetings, to reflection to entertainment. Everything will start on Monday 3 May, at 9pm, at the Carlo Zauli Museum in Via della Croce 6, with the first event of the “waiting for the festival” series, entitled “the last generation: a talk show on two floors”. The talk will be chaired by Matteo Zauli, featuring some of the key figures from the latest generation of creative people who have developed in the city since the first edition of the festival, ranging from contemporary art to fashion to design. The talk will be followed by a DJ set by Marco Samorè, who is due to open his new club in Faenza during the festival.
The night will continue at ClanDestino in Viale Beccarini 21, featuring indie rock music from Lightning Dust, a Canadian duo (Amber Webber and Joshua Wells) who are also members of Black Mountain.
Once again at ClanDestino, the club will transform on Wednesday 5 May into the first C temporary bar, where visitors can soak up the atmosphere of the magenta C and meet other fans, as well as flicking through magazines dedicated to art and creativity, from before dinner until late at night.
The first toast will take place at 7pm, while the concert by PARENTHETICAL GIRLS and FORMER GHOSTS, up-and-coming bands from the USA, will start at 11pm.
