The Advanced Institute for Artistic Industries (ISIA) of Faenza is a university-level school of design. It was founded in 1980, with the aim of developing studies in the ceramics sector, and then broadened its horizons to planning for all types of materials, for virtual products and communication design.
It is situated in Palazzo Mazzolani, and is destined to become a multi-functional cultural centre in the city, as part of the Moto d'idee project - Faenza towards the advanced cultural district.
