The festival of Contemporary art will encourage the meeting of art and fashion for the third edition too, inviting opinion leaders to talk about themselves from 21 to 23 May 2010. This year, Maria Luisa Frisa, director of the fashion design degree course at the IUAV University in Venice and fashion curator, will invite Ennio Capasa, Designer and Creative Director of Costume National, Costume National Homme and C’N’C Costume National and interview him on his creativity and his approach to contemporary arts.
His work includes “Lo Specchio di Frida”, a play based on Frida Kahlo’s life (1998) and “The rules of attraction”, a mise en espace of Bret Easton Ellis’s novel (2002). In 1999 he directed “Bright red: blood, transformation and transfiguration in contemporary art”, an exhibition for the Milan pavilion of Contemporary Art. In 2000 the city of Otranto commissioned him “Progetto Otranto” an urban design project.
