In a festival entirely focused on a journey through the world of artworks, the main protagonists are the artists. The “making art” series is dedicated to them, offering various conversations with some of the most significant artists in the international contemporary world interviewed by important critics and curators. The speakers are invited to go through their life in art and their artistic philosophy, presenting the audience with their past projects and those they are going to create.
In the opening, Doris Salcedo will tell Carlos Basualdo about Shibboleth, the project carried out for the Unilever Series at the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern. The festival will close its third editing with the unique conversation between Angela Vettese and Daniel Buren. The festival will feature artists such as Elmgreen & Dragset, Shilpa Gupta, in a conversation with Gianfranco Maraniello, Alfredo Jaar with Gabi Scardi, Nanni Balestrini interviewed by Hans Ulrich Obrist, Keren Cytter together with Marinella Paderni, and many others.
