Enrico Dolza received his degree in Italian Linguistics at Turin University. He continued his studies at Venice University in the field of pathological communication and Sign Languages.

He has worked with deaf people since 1995, mainly in the Istituto dei Sordi di Torino as teacher and later as a manager. He has worked as a professor of Sign Language at the Turin University as well as Linguistics at Bologna University in the School for teachers who work with children with special needs. He is author of 41 bibliographic units and a project coordinator for the project in Albania dedicated to deaf education and rehabilitation.
