The festival of Contemporary art is proud to announce the appointment of Carlos Basualdo, member of the Scientific Board of the festival with Angela Vettese and Pier Luigi Sacco, as the Contemporary Art Curator of the MAXXI - the National Museum for the art of the XXI century. The Museum will open in Rome on 30 May 2010, and it will be "the first public museum dedicated to the creativity of our time". Pippo Ciorra, university lecturer and the author of many essays, as well as an art critic and curator, will be the Curator of the Architecture section.

We inform also that on Saturday 22 May, during the festival, it will take place "the house of the artworks: MAXXI", a debate on museum as artwork and as house of the artwork. Anna Mattirolo, director of the MAXXI Museum, Angela Vettese, the artists Michelangelo Pistoletto and Tobias Rehberger will be interviewed by Paola Nicolin, art critic and journalist.
