From 20 to 22 May 2011, the festival of Contemporary art

The festival of Contemporary art of Faenza will be back from 20 to 22 May 2011 with its 4th edition. After the success achieved with the 2010 edition, entitled OPERE/works, the festival, under the scientific direction of Angela Vettese, Carlos Basualdo and Pier Luigi Sacco, has launched the theme of its next edition: “forms of collecting/Forme della commitenza”.

The festival will offer the public a new perspective on artworks, analyzing the private sector as well as the role of public institutions, dealing with the theme of collecting theme, and with the art market. Key figures of the international contemporary art system will be invited to talk to each other and to tell their own stories, to discuss with the public with the aim carrying on the fascinating tour through artworks.
